Types of Student Grants:

SEOG - Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

Maximum award is $1000 at MCC for each academic year. Neediest students qualify first. Pell recipients receive first priority. Nearly all SEOG goes to students who meet the priority funding deadline. It also depends on individual eligibility and availability of funds. SEOG is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need- that is, students with the lowest EFC's.
