The Master Promissory (MPN) is a binding, legal contract between you, the student borrower, and your lender. The MPN includes your promise to repay your loans, discloses the terms of your loans, and describes your rights and responsibilities as a Federal Stafford Loan borrower.
All students awarded loans will be required to complete a new Master Promissory Note (MPN) for the 2008-2009 school year. If you were awarded both a Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan, before completing a new MPN, you will be required to complete two (2) MPN's.
Do not attempt to complete the MPN unless you have verified your award. You can verify award on-line at your Student Center at My.maricopa.edu, or you can wait until you have received your award notification letter in the mail.
