Mesa Community College (MCC) is the largest of the ten community colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). The District serves more than 2.4 million residents in the 9,226 square miles of Maricopa County, Arizona. More than 180,000 students in Maricopa County are enrolled in one of MCCD's ten Colleges and two education/skill centers. Maricopa currently ranks as the largest multi-campus community college system in the United States and is also the largest single provider of higher education in Arizona. Maricopa Community Colleges are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and are approved by the Arizona State Board of Directors for Community Colleges. |
