Career/Re-Entry Services provides resources to help you make informed career decisions and services to prepare you for a job search.

Disability Resources and Services (DRS) is the Student Affairs department providing comprehensive services for students with disabilities at Mesa Community College. With ongoing support of MCC's faculty and administration, DRS assists students to fully participate in campus life by providing advisement, and academic adjustments and accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The office currently serves more than 750 students. Although DRS is located at the Southern and Dobson campus, services for students with disabilities are available at all campuses. Mesa Community College, through the Disability Resources and Services, supports universal design in its buildings and campuses and accessible programs and services for all students.

Distance learning has become increasingly popular because of its convenience and flexibility. It eliminates a major barrier that keeps many adults from advancing their education -- fitting campus-based classes into their busy schedules. Here at MCC most distance learning courses are offered via the Internet. Internet courses cover the same material with the same transfer abilities as courses offered at a campus; the difference is in the mode of delivery.

The Honors program at MCC offers talented and motivated students opportunities for extended academic and personal growth through many special courses that emphasize critical thinking, verbal expression, and creative problem solving.

Mesa Community College (MCC) offers international students superior academic opportunities, unique cultural experiences, and a friendly campus environment. Students enrolling here are able to complete the first two years of an undergraduate bachelor's degree program in a setting dedicated to quality teaching.
Students receive individual attention from instructors while utilizing advanced technology - all at a cost considerably less than larger four-year institutions. Moreover, Mesa Community College is fully accredited and maintains a close working relationship with all of the major state-supported universities in Arizona, making transfers to those larger institutions easy and convenient. Spanish Line/ Linea de Español - This phone line specializes in giving general information about MCC, E.S.L. ( English as a Second Language) classes and G.E.D in Spanish. Students can also speak to the Spanish speaking Academic Advisor in our office.

Records & Registration
Records and Registration Services at Mesa Community College maintains official college transcripts for all students, coordinates the registration process, provides enrollment verification and records transfer credits on the student's official transcript. The office establishes student athletic eligibility, implements the probation/suspension provisions of the District Academic Standards Policy and assists students through the enrollment process.

Service Learning
The mission of the Center for Service-Learning is to promote excellence in teaching and learning through the integration of academic study with active service. We collaborate with the community, encourage civic engagement, promote personal growth, and foster social responsibility. Get involved with Service Learning!

Transfer Services
If you have completed college coursework at MCC or another institution and/or you are in your first semester at MCC and you plan to attend a 4-year university, you may make an appointment with a Transfer Advisor. The Transfer Advisor can assist you in choosing coursework appropriate for your major, develop an educational plan, and project your potential graduation and transfer date to a university. Transfer Services strives to ensure a seamless transition from MCC to a 4-year university. Please call (480) 461-7452 to set up an appointment.
