On top of the general meeting tomorrow at 2pm in Pima and the all
u-can-eat-BBQ at 4pm ($5) , there are also:
1. 3rd event of the Asian Awareness Month: Honor Killing. There will be
a video based on a true story and a dialogue led by Ms. Yola Ghammashi.
Please look at the flier for details.
2. Campus scholarships: the All-MCC and Campus Based Scholarships. More
info will be sent out later or come to see me. The deadlines for these
two is July 1st and it will cover full tuition at the universities
level. I would strongly encourage you to apply for these.
3. If you have any items from Asia, including pictures, please give it
to me for Asian Month display.
Lastly - our dragon boat team has won 2nd place in 250m sprint in local
division. Thank you for your support and without your dedication - we
will probably still down there :)
Please pick up this month Mesa Legend, and you will see us there.
Take care and let's celebrate it together. The officers have shopped and
prepared lots of good food. So, bring all your friends and just relax.

Then we will have a Dragon Boat practice after the meeting. In addition, there are 2 practices this week. One is this Friday at 4p.m and the other one is this Sunday at 2p.m at Tempe Lake Marina.

IrisThere's a general meeting this Friday(2/27/09) at Pima Room at 2p.m. We'll not only talk about the upcoming events, but we'll also get to know each other and have fun. It's a brief and interested meeting that it doesn't take a lot of your time, so pease come and invite your friends to learn something and make friends. 
Also, we will practice Dragon Boat after the meeting. People who are in the Dragon Boat bring your running shoes. We'll have some exercises on our practices. Practices start at 4 p.m to 6p.m on Friday and 12 p.m to 2:30 p.m on Saturday. Be on time, please.
