The maximum award is $750 for 1st year students and $1300 for 2nd year students. Must be eligible for Pell Grants, U.S. citizens and full-time students. All recipients must have completed a "rigorous secondary program of study", or a state designated scholars program, or completed and received passing grades on the AP or IB exams.
First year students must not have been previously enrolled in a program of undergraduate education and must have graduated from high school after Jan. 1, 2006.
Second year students must have graduated from high school after Jan. 1, 2005 and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA with at least 24 credit hours completed after their first academic year.
Potentially entitled students will be contacted by the U.S. Department of Education.
