| What could be improved?
| The office spaces could be made to support the function of a student center. Only offices that have direct benefit to students could be made available on this floor. People can become lost and unsure of direction when referred by others. Some functions fit the area and others have no function. Wasted space in deans secretary area. |

| What could be improved?
| Some of the spaces are resting and study spaces. Traffic flow is blocked when large events are held in the Center. Not enough spaces for students to call their own. Hallways in the lobby should not function as event space. |

| What could be improved?
| Spaces are not utilized to their fullest potential. For example we have two rooms used for storage. Traffic flow can be impeded by the stairwell. Should this space be for students or meetings? Need spaces than can accommodate between 24-50 people because there is a gap of what rooms can accommodate. |

| What could be improved?
| MCC has outgrown the Navajo Room. We need a larger space for all MCC events and larger events. Would love to be able to partition the Navajo Room to schedule multiple smaller meetings. Employee Lounge is only sporadically used. Lighting needs to be improved and the traffic flow to the outside of the lounge could also be improved. Improve bathroom facilities. |

| What could be improved?
| Too much space unavailable to students if cafeteria closed. No flow to move in & out. Knock down wall in cafeteria so students can utilize seating after cafeteria has closed. Open the area up. Make the space usable and inviting. Cashier area leads to dead end space. Add security gates open up outside patio eating area. Improve the floor and walls. |

| What could be improved?
| Needs to be more organized and structured. We need more storage. Take out the storage in the Navajo room and utilize that space to open up the room. To many small spaces with no or too much stuff. Add to south wall of Navajo room, remove storage between Navajo and Zuni rooms. |

| What could be improved?
| Close patio areas off Pima and Kiva rooms and turn into storage areas for tables, chairs, etc. The courtyard to the west needs to be opened up. Take away the misting system in the inner courtyard. Capture the inner courtyard with atrium and open up the entire space for more square footage. |
Additional Comments:
- There are lots of spaces that can be remodeled to make the Kirk Center more appealing to students.
- Improve stairway up to clock tower.
- Building needs to open up more. Currently just a hallway from North to South. Not inviting for students.
- Navajo Room Divide up to make adjustable for events/needs. Should it be used for campus functions?
- Zuni Room Make into offices, student government?
- Yavapai, Student Life & Service Learning Open up completely.
- Deans/Development Do both Deans of Students need to be together? Is it necessary to have them in this building?
- IA Is this the best place for IA to be housed if Center turned back over to students?
- If areas re-modeled, where do current occupants go on the D/S campus?
- Is the goal to turn the Center back over to students?
- Redesign entrance to Kirk Center to enter on ground level. Enclose west patio with Zuni room.
- Create atrium w/ center courtyard.
- Remove the west wall in the lobby, along the Zuni room, enclose west patio and face the entire new west wall with glass windows to create visual flow from outside to inside.
- Major upgrade to kitchen facilities.
- Remove the drop ceiling in the entire lobby level building and create a warehouse effect. Add drop lighting to eating spaces.
- Remove current Student Life, Service-Learning and Yavapai room to perimeter of new building, or upstairs if current occupants can be moved. This would open up the entire lobby level.
- Create an enclosed game room for students with recreational activities (vending machines, pool table, flat screen tv for students to use video game system) and the area could generate some income for school.
