Continuing students:
Every student, who has received Veterans benefits at MCC
previously, must complete a pay request every semester to receive
Veterans/dependent benefits.
Forms that need to be completed:
Transfer students:
This process is for students who are either using their benefits
at Mesa Community College and are changing their major or degree
program or are transferring students from another college or
university where they have already used VA educational benefits.
Forms that need to be completed:
Complete the appropriate VA form along with the pay request
and submit to our office.
New Students:
New students are those who have not used VA benefits before at any institution of higher education.
Complete and submit the appropriate VA application and supporting
documents and a pay request to Veteran Services Office at Mesa Community College

- DD-214 (Military Discharge Document) - Copy Member 4 (Ch 30 & 1606, only)
- DD-2384 (NOBE - Notice of Basic Eligibility) (Ch 1606, only)
Chapter 31:
Please note: Chapter 31 Eligibility/Application is determined by the Department of Veteran Affairs, Vocational Rehabilitation Office.
