o        Guide, Arizona State University, 2002: produced field guide and conducted a field trip to study volcanic stratigraphy in the Superstition and Tortilla Flat volcanic field complex. Given to ASU students and faculty in collaboration with Arizona State Geological Survey and Arizona State Bureau of Land Management.

o        John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, Dept. of Geology, 2003: hiking guide and lecturer in the Grand Canyon, Arizona.

o        Life and Earth Science Graduate Research Symposium, Arizona State University, 2001: oral and poster presentation on Antarctic and thesis research.
