Our Intensive English Program consists of four recommended English language classes which meet daily from 8 a.m. to noon. The same classes are taught in our regular ESL program, but they take 16 weeks to complete and are scheduled at various times of the day or evening rather than in a morning block. The Intensive English Program is designed for students who wish to review and improve their English in a short period of time.
The Intensive English Program is repeated every semester. The first 8-week session is Level III ESL (Intermediate English), and the second 8-week session is Level IV ESL (High-Intermediate/Advanced English).
Fall semester in Arizona begins in the middle of August and ends after the third week of December. Spring semester begins in mid January and ends in mid May. Please check the official MCC website and the International Education website for the academic calendar and general information on how to enroll. Thank you for your interest in Mesa Community College!
