STARTING AN INTERNET CLASS

START UP and LOG-IN INSTRUCTIONS

 

Create a MCC email account at https://www.mc.maricopa.edu/apps/mymcc/CreateAccount.jsp.  If you have difficulty setting up your email, call the MCC Help Desk at 480-461-7568.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY:  The Internet classes that I teach are NOT self-paced, open/entry/exit, etc.  The course assignments have specific due dates and online class participation. It is your responsibility o have or have access to a computer in good-working order as well as the necessary software.  If not, you are able to use the Multi-Use lab at any one of the MCC campuses - Southern/Dobson, Red Mountain, Country Club and Brown.  A computer breaking down is not an excuse for not turning in assignments in timely manner.  Make a second plan, such as using one of our labs to complete and submit assignments.

Go back to the Starting an Internet web page from my website.  Click on the class(es) which pertain to you and go through each link provided to familiarize yourself with the class requirements on my Starting and Internet Class web page.

LOGGING INTO CLASS:

Once an email account has been set up and in service, you are able to log into your class.  Class will become "live and available" to you on the first weekday of the semester.

Prior to log in:

Make sure cookies are enabled.

Make sure your pop up blocker is turned off.
