Creating electronic portfolios provide opportunities for students to display their conceptual and functional skill levels developed over a specific period of time.  It also involves reflecting and summarizing a student’s self-assessment of accomplishments and challenges encountered of the skills and concepts learned. A portfolio is considered a work in progress to be used throughout the semester and can be used for peer sharing.  It also demonstrates  knowledge, comprehension, applications, synthesis and evaluation of the information presented in the class.
