HELLO! My name is Donna Gaudet, and I am the new Instructional Technologist working from the Center for Teaching and Learning at Mesa Community College.

Brief Background

Coming to Mesa is like coming home for me since I have spent most of my working life with the Maricopa District. I started at Scottsdale in the Fall of 1991 as a mathematics teacher then moved to Rio Salado in the Spring of 1997 to take on the role of math faculty chair. In the Spring of 2000, I went to work full time for Academic Systems, an educational software company. I am very excited now to be back in the district and working here at MCC.

Experience

I have a wide range of experience as follows:

Teaching TO Learning

Math teacher since 1989.

 

Graduate student in Instructional Technology and Distance Education

Utilizing specific technologies TO Utilizing technology in general

Experimenter and implementer in both classroom and distance learning technologies.

 

Facilitator of workshops focusing on best practice guidelines for the integration and use of technology.

Classroom Teaching TO Distance Learning

Classroom teacher of mathematics at University of Colorado and Scottsdale Community College.

 

Distance learning teacher of mathematics at Rio Salado College.
