Video Conference Room

Please read the following carefully before you enter the room.
 
Permission:
  • This room is allowed for only students who are currently taking Japanese courses at MCC.
Equipment Requirement:
 
  • You need Flash Player to participate in the conference room.  Get Flash Player
  • To see each other, you need a webcam.
  • To hear clearly, you need a headset: Microphone and speaker.
  • To type, you don't need any special equipment.  Unfortunately, we cannot type in Japanese at this time.  Use roomaji.
Log in:
  • To log in, you need your MCC user name and password.
Limit:
  • Only four people can chat at the same time.
To Be Viewed Through Webcam:
  1. Click "Send Audio/Video" of an "Open" window of the four windows available.  Example
  2. Click on "Allow."  Example
  3. If you experience a problem, try to log off once and log in again.
To Set Up the Sound:
  1. Make sure you have a working head set.
  2. Right click to open the set up window.  Example
  3. Click on the mic icon and select the mic you are using.  Example
  4. Use the typing chat to check if other users can hear you.
  5. If you experience a problem, try to log off once and log in again.
To Have an Effective Communication
  • If you are using this site with more than one person, determine the leader of the session before you start.
