Homework : 100 points (10%)You are encouraged to read and take notes on the material before it is discussed in class. All homework assignments will be done ONLINE through My Math Lab (Course Compass). Sometimes they will relate to the lecture that day, and sometimes their purpose will be to give you new information. I sincerely hope that you will attempt to do every problem that is assigned – you can re-do individual problems until you get them correct – up until the morning of the test. Each test will contain several questions very similar to the homework problems!

During the course of the semester, there will be several in-class and take-home enrichment activities that will not be graded, but test questions can be based on these problems, as well (the BLUE sheets).
Discussion Board : 50 points (5%)
- Each week you must post a response to the ONLINE discussion board inside Web CT (or go to MyMCC to access WebCT) based on the instructor’s question or instructions that week.
- Each week you must also reply to at least one other post written by a peer that week.
