Welcome title

My name is Mary E. Aldridge, and I am a residential faculty member at Mesa Community College. My doctorate is in Irish/British Literature with a specialization in W.B. Yeats, James Joyce and Irish Studies. I am excited to be here at MCC and wish to offer you many opportunities to experience the magic and passion of great literature, english humanities and to share my love of reading.

This semester I am teaching:

In October 2002, I took my first trip to Dublin, Ireland where I was privileged to be able to meet and talk with Kenneth Monaghan, the nephew of James Joyce, I am eager to share my experiences and insights with you. If you would like to view some of my photos from this trip, please click here.

If you would like to read my retrospective of the conference and my meeting with Joyce's nephew, please click here (this is an external website and a .pdf file).
