What is a Checkpoint?

wpe1A.jpg (1412 bytes)Every lesson includes two checkpoints that are intended for you to take a moment to test your knowledge of the concepts as you are studying them. They may be in the form of writing a description of a personal experience, completing textbook-based activities, or writing a rough draft of a letter.

You will encounter the instructions to do each checkpoint within the content of the lessons.   In most cases, you will merely click on a hot-link to take you to the specific instruction and textbox that will be used for submission of the checkpoint.

Even though these items are not "graded", I will provide feedback to you on the quality of your responses. For each of the items you will receive a score of five points toward your total score in the course for each checkpoint completed. However, you will receive three points for each checkpoint that is submitted late.
