What is a Videographic?

lesson13.gif (2170 bytes)A videographic is a short, animated sequence that is intended to emphasize key points of a lesson in a different format. They were created with a program called Macromedia Director, but resemble a Powerpoint presentation.

To play the videographic, merely click on the bar that identifies it. This will activate a link to the page where the videographic is located. The videographic will download and play automatically. Be patient, it will take a few minutes to download, depending on your computer’s capabilities.

As the videographic plays, it will occasionally pause to allow you time to read or respond the instructions on the screen. At this point your computer’s cursor will change from an arrow ([) to a flashing carat (^). If you click your mouse, the videographic will resume.

When the videographic is completed, you can return to the lesson and continue with the "lecture" by clicking the link under the video window or use the  "BACK" button on your Netscape browser.

The videographic will play only if you have Macromedia Shockwave installed on your computer.  To install this software,  download it from the Macromedia site:   http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/

Use "Back" button to return to previous page.
