Auditions and Theory Placement
All participants will play a short audition and take a theory placement quiz beginning at 9:00am, Monday, July 14, 2008. These are informal assessments to maximize participant learning during the Workshop. 

Horn players should play the melody and solo on the blues chord progression of the tune Tenor Madness(bflat blues head).  Rhythm section players should comp/walk and solo on the same chart. The purpose of this is to demonstrate where you are now in your playing, there is no competition at our Workshop.
