  • Currently is the ASAP coordinator for Pascua Yaqui Health Services.

  • Specializes in 12 step recovery programs and traditional medicine; he is a certified auricular acupuncture detox specialist.

  • Has experience in homeless outreach, case management with women and families in transition, and consulting with correctional facilities on chemical dependency.

  • Growing up in a tough neighborhood, Paul noticed that social workers provided hope and positive interactions.

  • Dedication and positive attitudes of the social work profession have helped Paul throughout his life. In turn, he now derives satisfaction from seeing clients improve.

     

  • One does not always see improvements day-to-day, but it is satisfying to see community progress.

  • Dedicated and knowledgeable practitioners who are willing to continuously update their expertise. The fields of gerontology, substance abuse, medicine and corrections will all be major sources of employment for social workers.
