REL 151 (Summer 2013) Sections 15836/20956/20805

The Official Course Description: Survey of various religious traditions within Spain and the Spanish-settled world. Considers the impact of and impact on both major world religions and indigenous traditions.

This class combines students who are on the Study Abroad Spain (Andalucía) program with online students in Arizona. All students are encouraged to add the MCC Study Abroad Spain (Andalucía) and Triángulos Facebook pages, as they will incorporate a variety of images and details about the al-Andalus and Mexican experiences we are addressing in the course.

You must access your @maricopa.edu email account to receive general class emails.

This website is the course syllabus.

In a nutshell: you'll explore the interaction of various religions in Spain and Latin America and write two one-page papers, take one exam, go on four excursions (virtual if you are online) and attend one worship service.
