Location:
- Meets TR 10:30-11:45 in BP 1N.
Official Course Description:
Academic study of the scriptures of Judaism, Christianity
and Islam, and works from later phases of these religious traditions.
Our Goals:
There are two: 1) that you actually begin to become familiar with the
texts (a lot of people talk about the Bible or Qur'an and never read it); and 2) you think
about what these scriptures actually say. To accomplish the two in one course,
you will be look at "scripture" in ways you have never never done before -- and
be warned: it is a hard thing.
Important Note: All students must have an activated
MCC email account
to receive communications and gain access to the class Forum.
